"Balsam Fir" (2023) 22 X 17" acrylic on paper painting by Reilly Fitzgerald. 
When I first had the idea for this piece I imagined a painting of the local flora in a style of Tamara de Lempicka (who painted beautiful bold stylized portraits) and my own. I don't know how successful I was but it's definitely another unique piece that I think can be identified as mine. 
Anyway, here is my interpretation of the trees as they currently appear from my room at the cabin here in Denny's Pond, NL.
